Fimo Trial

So a few months ago I became aware of fimo sticks and was quiet curios. So much so that I had fimo sticks in my cart on Amazon.com but at the last minute I chucked them. I guess it was the idea of having to cut them and me and sharpe objects not having a really I good relationship. So fast forward a bit to last week, I was in 5 Below (in the nail polish section of course) and I spotted this cute little container with Pre Cut Fimos. There was no debating I snatched it up right away and this is my first mani using them.

I always wanted to do a Pink and Black mani and this seemed like a great time. I painted all my nails except the middle finger with L.A Colors: Color Craze BCC .
Pre-Cut Fimos

I used a dotting tool to create a polka dot design on my pinky and thumb (love polka dots plus I think they look really good with the stripes). For the other 2 nails I place six strips of striping tape on each nail then painted over the nail with Wet n Wild Black Creme then quickly removed each strip of tape. The middle finger I painted it black with Wet n Wild Black Creme, after it was completely dried I applied a drop of nail glue then used a tweezer to place the pink and white fimo bow tie. I used the tweezer to apply pressure to the fimo until it dried a bit. I then added a few white dots for more detail.

  1. I love this. You really nailed it. I don't paint my nails at all, but you got me wanting to try this.

  2. Thanks! Painting your nails is fun you should definitely try it. Im not a artistic or crafty person by nature but doing my nails gives me an outlet to express that side and its great to see the finished creation.
