Spring Nail Polish Trend: Texture.

Love the idea of, glam, glittery nails but not quite ready to go full-on-glitz? This new polish combines black glitter with pastel colors giving you  pretty feminine, but with an edge. (Lesley Kennedy)

The  nail polishes featured in this newspaper article for this trend are from the Deborah Lippman Staccato collection where a bottle will make you $19 poorer.

Now I prefer my nail polish in the under $2 price range and Im sure there are others out there who thinks spending $19 on a bottle of nail polish is a little much, so I went hunting and I found dupes that were $4. Lil more than I would like to spend but it sure sounds better than $19.

The dupes are from the Hard Candy: Candy Sprinkles Collect and it boast 9 gorgeous colors.

Sugar Rush, a milky white; Jelly Bean Blue, a baby blue; Gummy Green, a frosty mint; and Cotton Candy Pink, a pretty periwinkle.

NOTE: Illamasqua also has polishes that samples this new trend, their polishes go for $14. I am also trying to recreate this trend with polishes I currently have. If its a success I'll definitely share.
